The Real Story of Thanksgiving
and
Who Were The Pilgrims?
By Kelly McGinley
Nov. 23, 05

Dear Brethren:

Thanksgiving is a great time to spend in the Word of God and have a Thankful heart for all the blessings the Lord Jesus Christ has given us and the ones to come.  Especially His return to the earth to set up His earthly Kingdom.  Where we will spend eternity.  As the world becomes darker and more evil the more faith we need to hang on every jot and tittle in His Word.

This past year I have come to learn much about Dominion/Calvinism and have come to see the dangers this philosophy has for true Christians.  For those who do not know, a short synopsis of their beliefs: God elects us, we have no choice.  He chooses a group to go to hell.  Most in this camp believe that we are already in the 1000 year reign of Jesus and it is their job to bring in the Kingdom of God.  Tribulation has already occurred.  Some believe will never come back in the resurrected flesh, some believe He will come when the Elect conquers the world for God.  When we take this belief out to its natural course, it is easy to see that it is OK to kill the un-elect.  And maybe the un-elect could be used as objects for the elect sakes.  When we look on what they did in the past and what they are up to day, we see that true Bible believers are being set up for the death penalty.

Calvinism founded America, and they are quite proud of it.  I wonder if they were behind the killing of many Indians.  The puritans were Calvinists.  The Pilgrims were Calvinists.  They started the Revolutionary war.  The un-elect are great use as cannon fodder for the elect.  Just as this group has many tangent beliefs, many in their group believe that only blonde and blue eyes are the elect, like Hitler.  Some believe that blacks are mud people who have no soul. So you can see where this philosophy leads.

So on this Thanksgiving lets study the pilgrims and see where we have been deceived.  Attached are some articles to get you started.  Many from their own web pages.  As you read, understand their philosophy to take dominion of the world.

"Now we exhort you brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.  See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.
"In EVERYTHING give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you"...
1 Thess. 5:15-18 KJV

Deconstructing the Myths of “The First Thanksgiving”
by Judy Dow (Abenaki) and Beverly Slapin
And why do teachers all over the country continue (for the most part, unknowingly) to perpetuate this myth year after year after year?

Florida teacher chips away at Plymouth Rock Thanksgiving myth
When Gioia recently asked her students who believes the first Thanksgiving was in Florida, every hand in her classroom flew up in the air.

Thanks, but No Thanks?
Very soon most Americans will take a holiday, ostensibly to give thanks. But most will likely give thanks, as they have in years gone by, by simply eating too much.
