Victory at The End of His Story
This world is spinning out of control
The future is looking gravely dim
The news each day is very sad
The messages dark and grim;
The evil deeds in this cruel world
Minute by minute increase;
We long for just a tiny glimpse
Of comfort and God’s sweet peace.
But then His Spirit speaks a truth
That my heart can so quickly forget;
The truth that God is still in control
And I know He is not finished yet.
So I’ll trust in His all-knowing wisdom
Unafraid, I will face each new day;
I will rest in the comfort of knowing
That His power is leading the way
To the ultimate end of the story,
And He is still on His throne.
One-day the pain, the suffering and strife
Will be wiped away, it will be gone.
My Savior is planning a majestic return
He will take all his children to GLORY.
So stay tuned, my friend, it’s not over yet
There’s victory at the end of His story.
