My Glory is in the Cross
I glory in the cross
Of Jesus Christ, My Lord
In Him is all the love and power
That this world can afford.
He gives us everything we need
To live a life for Him.
Without His love shining through me
My lamp would grow so dim.
"So shine through me, Dear Jesus,
Yes, make Your glory known.
I know that any good in me
Is YOU, it is not my own.
Hide me behind the cross
Where Jesus shed His blood,
I pray that Your love and power
From my life this day will flood;
Flood and pour over those I meet
And those I love so dearly,
May my life shine with Jesus' love
Into my world, so clearly."
